The beautiful Val Verde neighborhood was first developed in the 1980’s with building activity continuing into the early 2000’s.
Our neighborhood is a very charming one as it centers around a meandering creek and greenbelt area with several homes backing up to Martin Nature Park Center. Mature trees, winding roads with an occasional meandering deer or flying ducks contribute to the appeal of living in Val Verde. When nice weather prevails, many of our neighbors can be seen walking the streets and enjoying the quiet serenity that is Val Verde.
The neighborhood is situated on the northwest corner of North Meridian Avenue and Northwest 122nd Street in far northwest Oklahoma City.
Homes are all different sizes and designs with many on large lots. Several have swimming pools and there are even a few with tennis courts. Val Verde is known for quality construction with multiple architectural influences and well thought-out roads and streets.
Most of the homes are built on meandering cul-de-sacs that afford an extra measure of privacy from the two main streets. Bluff Creek runs through the community, parallel to Val Verde Drive, and contributes to the area’s lush natural landscapes. The abundance of trees, well-manicured lawns and a very proactive HOA make Val Verde a highly sought-after place to live.
